Catalytic Membrane Ozonation

نویسندگان

چکیده

Catalytic membrane ozonation is a hybrid process that combines filtration and catalytic ozonation. The deposited with an appropriate solid material acts as catalyst. As consequence, the contactor can act simultaneously (i.e., improving transfer/dissolution of gaseous ozone into liquid phase), well reactor oxidizing organic compounds). It be used in water wastewater treatment limiting disadvantages lower removal rates emerging contaminants or fouling occurrence) selective oxidation, low mineralization rates, bromate (BrO3?) formation). enhance micropollutants bacteria, inhibit decrease BrO3? formation additionally, restrict major/common problem membranes’ use). Nevertheless, higher operational cost main drawback these processes.

Magnetically separable MgFe2O4 nanoparticle for efficient catalytic ozonation of organic pollutants

Magnetically separable MgFe2O4 was synthesized and used in catalytical ozonation of 4-chlorophenol (4-CP). The prepared catalyst was characterized by X-Ray Diffraction (XRD), Field Emission Scanning Electronic Microscopy (FE-SEM), Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM), Brunauer−Emmett−Teller (BET) and Vibrating-Sample Magnetometer (VSM). The optimum conditions for the hig...

Characterizations of Catalytic Membrane

We look at 1-region membrane computing systems which only use rules of the form Ca! Cv, where C is a catalyst, a is a noncatalyst, and v is a (possibly null) string of noncatalysts. There are no rules of the form a ! v. Thus, we can think of these systems as “purely” catalytic. We consider two types: (1) when the initial configuration contains only one catalyst, and (2) when the initial configu...

removal of toluene from the airflow using catalytic ozonation

background: the widespread use of toluene and its consequent adverse effects on health and specially its chronic effects on the central nervous system has resulted in many studies being carried out on the methods that can control and reduce toluene vapors in the airflow. the objective of this study is to assess the effectiveness of the catalytic ozonation process in the removal of toluene from ...

Degradation of 4-Nitrophenol from industrial wastewater by nano catalytic Ozonation

ABSTRACT: In this project, a nano catalyst (TiO2) and ozone combined with each other and they were used for the removal of 4-nitrophenol (4NP) in industerial wastewater. The effect of some operational parameters such as initial pH (3-9), the concentration of pollutant (20-80 mg/L), and amount of TiO2 were investigated. In O3/TiO2 process, the anion radical  formed before the production of hydro...
